The Port Penn Volunteer Fire Company is a non-profit organization that is funded by the State of Delaware and the New Castle County Goverment. We provide fire protection, and operate two boats for water rescues, and provide 24 hour a day 7 days a week EMS crew in the station for emergency medical calls.

The area in which we protect is the town of Port Penn, Augustine Beach, Thorntown Rd, all of Dutch Neck Rd, portion of the Delaware River, and a portion of the Delaware Bay. We also assist our neiborhing companies and surrounding communities when needed.

With the recent rises in costs for everthing, there might come a time where we need more money then the funding in-which we receive. Your donations would go torwards the up keep of the current apparatus & building, the purchase of new equipment and technolgies. We appreciate any donations given to the Port Penn Vol. Fire Co.
