Swift Water Response - Delaware City

Tuesday, October 13, 2015
Due to the amount of the rain that fell, station 15 (Delaware City) was alerted for flooding issues in town. Deputy 15 advised fireboard to alert us and Goodwill for boats and the swift water team to respond to the trailer park due to flooding. MRU 29 responded with marine 2 under the command of FF/EMT Amy Trowbridge. 29-8B (Brad Speakman) arrived onscene in the duty truck and was assigned water ops by deputy 15. The units worked to check on all residents of the trailer park. While clearing they were sent to assist with the removal of a woman from a house in the Polktown Place area. Crews worked to assist 15 units until all was secured and units were released by Deputy 15.
