Thomas currently holds the position of 2nd Assistant Chief. In the past, He has held the positions of 1st Assistant Chief, 4 Year Director, Chairman, Deputy Chief, Engine Captain, Fire Recorder, Rescue Captain, and Saftey Officer. He also has been awarded the 2nd Top Fire Responder, 1st Top Fire Responder, 10 Year Service Award, President's Award, 3rd Top Fire Responder, 3rd Top Fire Responder, 2nd Top Ambulance Responder, 1st Place Fire & EMS, 1st Top Fire Responder, 2nd Top Fire Responder, 2nd Top Ambulance Responder, 2nd Top Ambulance Responder, President's Award, Life Saving Award, 3rd Top Fire Responder, President's Award, 1st Top Ambulance Responder, 5-29-04 Two People Rescued After Falling Off Vessels in Delaware River, 4-5-09 Gasoline Tanker Rollover With Entrapment, 11/24/08 Duck Hunter's Stuck In Pond, 3-15-07 Two Vehichle Accident w/Heavy Entrapment, 5-30-04 Four People Rescued From Delaware River After Boat Sinks, 10-4-10 House Fire With Subjects Trapped, 6-2-08 MVC With Entrapment, 1-23-07 Barge Fire In The Delaware River, and 7-12-04 Noreaster Storm Brings 15 Runs In One Day awards. Tom has completed Basic Fire Fighting Skills, Structural Fire Fighting, Haz-Mat Response Skills, Vehichle Rescue, Power Tools, Rescue Tools, Company Officer Skills, Crew Leader, Arson Detection, Strategy, Tactics, Class A Foam. Tom also is a First Responder and has taken ICS 100 through ICS 700 with FEMA. Tom also completed a Basic Instructor's Course through the Delaware State Police Academy. Tom also serves as chairman of the Recruitment & Retention Committee and aslo serves on the fund raising committee.
