29 Marine 1 is a 27 foot Boston Whaler powered by twin 300 HP Mercury Verado Supercharged motors. The boat is equipped with cold weather, ice and swift water suits. It is equipped with a portable 250 GPM Hale portable fire pump with two hard suction sleeves and various rolls of 1 3/4" hose and nozzles to provide firefighting capabilities. This vessel has a tow bar to remove disabled vessels that create a navigational hazard. In 2022, this boat was sold to the St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department in Calvert County, MD where it is now in-service as Boat 7 providing Marine Rescue and firefighting capabilities on the Chesapeake Bay.
