At 1441 hrs the Port Penn fire company was alerted to assist 4/24 (Odessa) on a house fire. Tanker 29 responded under the command of Capt. Tom Riale and Rescue 29 responded shortly after under the command of Capt. Brian Dunkelberger. Tanker 24 reported upon arrival that there was smoke showing. 24-8 ( T. Lynch) advised just a few moments later that the fire was knocked down. Upon the arrival of the Tanker and Rescue the scene was placed under control.
