On Saturday, station 29 was alerted to assist stations 4/24 on a occupied car fire on Rte 1 just south of Pole Bridge Rd. Engine 29-4 responded with a crew of 4 under the command of Captain Tom Riale. 24-8 (T. Lynch) arrived and reported a van fully involved. Upon arrivial, Capt. Eaton and Career Staff Matt Cobb stretched a line and started the knock down on the van. The crew also assisted with the clean up and returned.
