MVC With Entrapment - Port Penn

On Friday Oct. 16th at 2316 hrs the station recieved a phone call advising that there was a mvc with entrapment on Rte 9 north of town and were told that another person was talking to fireboard to be dispatched. Due to several people hanging around the station, the ambulance started down with A/C Newman and FF/EMT A. Stuckert. The rescue responded as the dispatch was going out under the command of Capt. Eaton (29-C3) with crew of three. Both units arrived to find a vehichle overturned with a victim partially ejected and trapped. Deputy 29 at this time went responding as well as TSU 29 with crew of 2 Under the command of FF/EMT A. Trowbridge. The crews were able to stablize the car and free the victim from the car. Deputy assumed command and requested for the road to be closed. The victim was transported by A-29 and medic 5 to the truama center. Rescue 29's crew provided lights for the police and tow truck and helped clean the road before clearing the scene.
