On April 2nd at 1841hrs the station was alerted for a engine assist Stations 1/27 on a possible plane crash. Engine 29-4 responded with a crew of six under the command of Deputy J. Newman. While responding all units were advised that police were onscene advising two patients still in the plane. Upon arrival 29-4's crew assisted in the extrication efforts and then was cleared by command.
