On March 29th Port Penn Fire Company Assisted the Odessa Fire Company on a large marsh fire in the area of Silver Run. The Station Responded with 290 and Argo 29. Crew arrived to find a small fire that quickly grew in intensity. The Argo with the crew of 290 and Chief 29 (Schoeffler) worked in conjuction with Silver Run command to keep the Fire from reaching the exposures. Port Penn crews worked for 3 hours on suppression and Chief 29 had the East Division and Odessa Assistant Chief Hensley had Odessa command.
