On the evening of the 28th just 12 hours before the arrival of the first northestern winter storm, there was a very high tide in the Delaware River. There were no calls as a result but several locations were showing signs of flooding. Route 9 south of the Reedy Point Bridge there was water flowing over the road from the river side to the west side of the roadway. The ramp at Augustine Beach was just about completely under water.
