On today’s date at approximately 11:00hrs Station 29 was alerted for an Engine assist Station 15 on a Residential Fire at the above location. Engine 29 responded with in a minute of the dispatch with a crew of 5 under the command of Chief Speakman. Upon making the turn onto Kirkwood Saint-Georges Road 15-8 (Chief Rosseel) went arrival with a 2 story single family dwelling with smoke showing from the Bravo side. 29-4 arrived first and dropped a supply line to a near by hydrant in the Mariners Watch Development to supply 15-7 who arrived shortly behind 29-4. The crew from Engine 29 went to work on the interior with 29-8 being assigned Interior Officer as the crew was tasked with suppression and conducting a search of the number 2 floor. Additional apparatus arrived from Christiana, Delaware City and Odessa and completed tasks of laddering the building and assisting with overhaul. Crews made quick and aggressive work of the fire and held it too one room. After fire was confirmed out scene was placed under control holding it to units on scene.
