On the above date Station 29 was alerted to assist stations 4/24 on a residential fire at the above location. Station 4 units were responding and on scene in under 4 minutes with 24-8 reporting fire showing upgrading the alarm. 29-4 (Career Staff M.Willis) made the response in under 4 minutes and arrived shortly after assisting crews operating on the fire ground with extinguishment and a search. Rescue 29 (Deputy Newman) also made the response and was assigned to assist in a search and ventilate the structure. As Deputy 24 (Billings) was notifying command via a face to face the crew from 29-4 notified him at the same time via tac-3 of a fatality in the residence. Crews from both units assisted on scene for several hours with various tasks.
