Career Staff and Live-In Attend SWRT Training - Front Royal, Va

Over the weekend of May 4th through the 6th Career Staff Members Tim Conrad and Robert Davis and Live-In Member Gary Duren along with Career FF/EMT Ray Lyons of the Christiana Fire Company attended Swift Water Rescue Technician training. They traveled 4 hours to the town of Front Royal, Va and attended the class taught by Rescue 3 Instructors George Lewis and Gary Gesling. The day was spend Friday in the classroom learning various terms and techniques and Saturday and Sunday were spent live training in the Shenandoah River at the Compton Falls section. The members learned various ways to handle numerous swift water rescue situations. They had a great time and learned a lot from the class and would recommend this to anyone looking to further they're water rescue training!!
