*L3 Mobile Home-Trailer Fire - Kingsmill Trailer Park

Tuesday, October 13, 2015
On the above date Engine and Rescue 29 were dispatched along with the rest of the box assignment to assist station 1-5 on a House-Trailer Fire. Prior to arrival of Fire Department units NCC Fireboard advised 1-5-8C that County Police were on scene reporting smoke showing, at that time the alarm was upgraded to work. 12-6 arrived first and was assigned to lay in and take the first due engine assignment. Rescue 1-5 arrived shortly behind 12-6 and was assigned to assist the crew operating inside. Engine 29 arrived and assumed the first due special service roll performing a search and ventilating the structure. After the bulk of the fire was knocked and searches proved to be negative the scene was placed under control holding units on scene. Crews operated on scene for 90 minutes before being released.
