*L1 MVC W/Rollover - State Route 1 ITAO Marl Pit Road

On the above date Stations 4 and 24 were dispatched for an MVC with a Rollover at the above location. With a crew in quarters Engine 29-4 (AKA 4-5) made the response under Command of FF/EMT K. Getty directly after dispatch. A-24 arrived and confirmed single vehicle rollover down and embankment. Engine 29-4 arrived shortly after and confirmed 1 trapped and went to work on stabilization and extrication. R-24 then arrived and crews worked in tandem as a team to complete all tasks assigned by Command. Due to the location of the driver and obstacles to overcome extrication was marked at 31 minutes after arrival. Pt was transported to CER by A-24 and NCC Medic 5 scene was placed under control shortly there after holding units on scene. State Route 1 was closed for 2 hours from the time of the call to allow for Firefighter and Support Staff (Del-Dot, DSP, Tow Company) safety at all times from moving traffic while rescue operations and vehicle removal were being preformed.
