On Monday May 9th, 2016 Chief Schoeffler, Deputy Chief Newman and Past Chief Bendler attended the services for Lawrence "Sonny" Sullivan of the Bowers Beach Fire Company. "Sonny" was a life member with 51 years of service to the Bowers Beach Fire Company. "Sonny" is also the father of Robert and Willie Trowbridge, both members of Port Penn and Bowers Beach Fire Company.
