On April 2nd @ 23:33 Hrs a box alarm was dispatched for a reported House Fire in the community of Grande View in the Odessa Local. Tanker 29, Deputy 29 and 298 responded on the alarm. At the time of dispatch a very large and powerful storm was making its way across most of southern New Castle County. Deputy 29 and the Tanker arrived on location to find a large 2 story house with smoke showing. The company stretched and found a basement fire extended into the first and second floors. Crews operated for several hours.
