On August 8th 2016 @ 13:01 hrs a Water Rescue box was dispatched for the Delaware City Fire Company for a sailboat on Fire in the C&D canal. Marine Units 15, 18, 29 were alerted to a reported sailboat on fire in the area of the Rt 1 bridge. Units arrived on location to find a large sailboat fully involved with fire in the canal. DCFC Engine 155 responded to the site via the C&D trail and requested an additional Engine company, that assignment was filled by Engine 12.
