On July 2nd the Station was alerted to assist the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown with a residential fire in the community of Summit Pond. First arriving companies found smoke showing from a 2 story home, with a fire in the basement. RE 296 made the response and operated on scene in various roles until released by command.
