On the above date units from Port Penn, Odessa, New Castle County ALS and Delaware State Police Aviation were alerted to an early morning vehicle accident on the 1400 Block of Pole Bridge Road. Upon arrival units found a vehicle into a tree on fire with one subject trapped in the vehicle. Crews made quick work of the fire and extrication of the trapped subject freeing them with in minutes. Crews worked together to mitigate any and all hazards in a timely fashion, they operated for over an hour before placing the equipment back in service and returning.
