On the above date Units from Odessa, Port Penn, Middletown and Delaware City were alerted as part of the box alarm assignment for a residential fire in the Augustine Creek section of Odessa. Upon arrival units investigated a possible lightening Strike with an odor of smoke on the second floor. Crews found an evidence of a direct strike with electrical issues but no signs of smoke or fire. After investigation was complete DP&L was notified to respond for the electrical issues and department units picked up and returned to service.
