At 1623hrs Stations 29 and 1-5 were dispatched to a large brush fire in the area of the south side of Reedy Point Bridge. Units arrived stretching and assembling 700ft of forestry line to extinguish flames and wet down the area in addition to crews assisting with hand tools. Units operated on scene for approximately an hour before Chief Schoeffler placed the incident under control.
