Prescribed Fire Burns

Over the last several weeks Port Penn Fire Company has conducted prescribed fire burns on a couple different properties. These burns are done with a permit from the state to help control and mitigate large quantities of invasive plant species. With the help of Delaware City, Odessa, and Clayton Fire Companies, burns were able to take place on properties off of Thorntown Road and W. Market Street.
