Port Penn Fire Co. Rescue Engine 29-6 responded while on the road training to assist dispatched units from Odessa & Volunteer Hose Co of Middletown on an MVC with entrapment. On arrival of 29-6 they confirmed entrapment and went to work with units from 24 & 27 to extricate the occupant. Crews worked in tandem to free the victim who was turned over to BLS unit from Odessa and New Castle County Paramedics. We cherish the close working relationships with all our neighbors whom we get the pleasure of protecting the community with day in and out.
