At approximately 1830hrs Port Penn, Delaware City, and Goodwill Fire Companies were dispatched to a vessel in distress in the area of the refinery docks. Marine units arrived on scene to find a vessel that had lost power and drifted to the refinery. The subjects were placed on board 29M-1 and taken to Delaware City with 18M-1 towing their vessel.

On the above date Units from Odessa, Port Penn, Middletown and Delaware City were alerted as part of the box alarm assignment for a residential fire in the Augustine Creek section of Odessa. Upon arrival units investigated a possible lightening Strike with an odor of smoke on the second floor. Crews found an evidence of a direct strike with electrical issues but no signs of smoke or fire. After investigation was complete DP&L was notified to respond for the electrical issues and department units picked up and returned to service.

Station 29 units were alerted as part of the box assignment for Rockwood Apartments for the Multi-Residential fire. 12 units arrived and reported smoke showing from the apartment building. 29 units arrived and assisted crews on scene with various tasks until released by command.
